Ok I have to start off with the product works great for curly/wavy and frizzy hair. After using this my hair looked so healthy and shiny despite the super blonde highlights I have. The only problem I had was the instructions were in Portuguese so I had to try and figure things out and use a translator program before using. The other thing I noticed is that I had my hair colored the week prior to using this product and I did notice that my highlighted portions of hair did turn lighter in color which was ok. I still have curls when hair is wet but it is manageable and no frizz...easy blow drying for straight look and the product smelled great after the final rinse.This product lasted for 3 months but I did notice the second application my hair was even straighter than the first time. I love this product and will continue to use being that it did not damage my hair. I believe the sellers read this review because this last order included instructions in English. Thanks... Great with CHI straightener (Misc.) I got this for both of my teen daughters who have very naturally curly hair that they usually straighten with an iron. We followed the direction explicitly because we had done a lot of research on the salon process including not touching the hair with water after the treatment for at least 3 days. We purchase a hot straightening iron for the required 410 degrees heat and were very careful in the process.After three days, they washed their hair and when wet it now is in very loose waves almost like it was chemically straightened. They both say their hair is some much softer, conditioned and the texture is incredible. They say styling their hair is 100% easier and even though they still need to use a straightening iron for flat straight hair, they've cut the styling time in half. When I came across this product on Amazon I thought it'd be the perfect solution for me while deciding on whether or not to go through with a Brazilian Blowout at a salon.The process itself is simple. Wash hair with provided clarifying shampoo 2-3 times, blow dry without combing and apply treatment starting at the nape of the neck being sure to cover all strands. In the bottle the treatment has no chemical smell present, but by the time I had 2/3 of my hair coated I had to stop the process and step outside. This treatment made my hair smooth and shiny again. It didn't completely straightn my hair, it still has some waves but no frizz, which is what I wanted. When I want my hair straight I can blow dry it straight in a lot less time than before the treatment. UPDATE: 1/18/2012 Two months later my hair still has no frizz. If I let my hair dry on it's own it's got more of the wave back. If I blow dry my hair it stays straight. I started using at home BKTs this year after not relaxing my type 4b super-coarse, super thick hair for four years. I originally started out with Organix's kit with the excellent results, but the fact the it reddened my hair annoyed me and I was a little apprehensive of the ingredient list. I stumbled upon Renpure website and decided to try out their treatment (it is relatively cheap, much cheaper than Organix). I am very very pleased with results - I can apply it with my hands, I can use as much or as little as I want, and it doesn't discolor my hair at all. Just smooth, shiny, manageable hair. I'm sold. I really hope this catches on with black women who are looking for a safe, easy method to obtain straight hair (or anyone looking to super-shiny smoothness to their hair, period), and I especially love the fact the it isn't permanent so I can go back to my natural hair texture whenever.
